As you enter downtown Asheville you will come across a colorful depiction of Asheville’s rich culture. This mural was painted between 2008-2009 as part of a non profit dedicated to public art called, Arts 2 People and Asheville Mural Project. This project included many artists such as Molly Must, Joshua Spiceland, Daniel Beck, Harper Leich, Kurt Thaesler, Steve Lister, and later, Ian Wilkinson, Trish Tripp, and Melissa Glaze. All of which dedicated many hours to bring this bridge to life!

While walking up Broadway street, its hard to miss the beautiful array of calming colors that make up this Buddha mural. This painting was created by artist and yoga teacher, Amanda Giacomini, as part of a challenge to paint 10,000 Buddhas around the world. We are so happy that Asheville made the cut! Just to the right there is a single painting of Buddha holding his hands in a peaceful mudra.
